Hunters: Sins of the Father is a Conspiratorial Horror/Survival LARP game created by Mykal Lakim and published by Dark Phoenix Publishing. Hunters is published using both the L.I.F.E system and the Infinte System as a part of the Wastelands of Damnation roleplaying series. Hunters builds upon the Mortal Corebook allowing players to experience tragedy as a mentally (and possibly emotionally) scarred hunter. Playing Hunters allows players to peek past the veil at the world of the supernatural to see the lasting effect it often has on mortals.

Hunters is a game about coping with loss. As you learn the rules and play with your friends you will be tested both morally and mentally as you step into the shoes of a hunter and begin your journey on The Lonely Road . Play with a few friends or play with dozens, we're sure Hunters will entertain and inspire you and your friends for endless nights of fun.

Game SystemEdit

Hunters: Sins of the Father is played using the L.I.F.E. System (Live-Action In Fantasy Environment). In addition to the games' rules the most important thing to memorize are the mechanics, based on the numerical value of four. The game can be played with a 12 sided dice or the traditional method of Throwing Chops (Rock, Paper, Scissors) making gameplay simple and easy to understand. In December 2012, Dark Phoenix Publishing announced the release of a Tabletop variant as well as another LARP varant known as Infinity which would simplify the mechanics of the game to appease gamers who felt number crunching was too difficult.

Hunters in DamnationEdit

In the world of Damnation, supernatural creatures are everywhere. Their reach is limitless, they literally infect every aspect of the world from the heights of Paradise to the lower depths of Hell. From the Abyss stretching across the realms, the supernatural exist within the world of Damnation.

Hunters are humans who possess no supernatural powers or abilities whatsoever. Instead, they are normal mortals who have survived an encounter with a supernatural creature to some degree pushing the boundaries of their moral, mental and emotional stability. The result of all of this pain? Incredible drive and tenacity. Peeking beyond the veil, Hunters are dedicated to the last breath to uncovering the mysteries and tracking down those responsible for their plight.
